About Foothills Finance Team

The Foothills Finance Team is a group of dedicated lay leaders with expertise in finance, accounting, and business who meet monthly to review financial reports and offer strategic insight. Their role is to ensure clarity, accuracy, and transparency in financial communication—especially materials shared with the congregation—by providing feedback on systems, reports, and organizational guidelines. The team partners with the Director of Finance and Operations to support sustainable financial practices and uphold the integrity of Foothills’ financial stewardship.

This team does not engage in line-by-line spending oversight or micromanagement. Their role is rooted in shared lay leadership and strategic accountability to ensure that Foothills remains fiscally sound and that financial information is accessible and trustworthy for the whole community.
